SELF DEFENCE

For many people, incidents of angry or threatening behaviour at work happen quite infrequently. Consequently, when an incident does occur, the individual can be very surprised and shocked.
A Management of Aggression Programme gives participants the opportunity to examine how people think, and how this has a direct influence on their behaviour. Participants are encouraged to explore the process of anger, what influences that process and how it manifests itself.

There is a strong focus on de-escalation techniques and participants will be helped to identify the skills involved and when to use them.
